Find a technical college in your area. Most communities have at least one such college and almost all of them offer electrician training courses.
Enroll in the electrician's program at your local technical college. The tuition is usually affordable, and the length of the program is reasonably short.
Learn the basics. You can opt to go further with your education if you like, but just aim for the general knowledge required to become a basic electrician.
Discover the inner workings of electronic devices. After your training period, you will have the ability to install, repair and maintain electrical equipment.
Enter an apprentice program. Upon completion of your studies, sign on with a notable electrician to get on-the-job training that will help you apply your knowledge and get you started in the field.
