X-Ray & Ultrasound Tech Programs in Central California

California's Employment Development Department predicts that the demand for X-ray and ultrasound technicians in the state will grow by more than 16 and 18 percent respectively, measured over a 10-year period ending in 2016. A number of schools in central California offer both X-ray and ultrasound technology programs. Comprised of both private and public institutions, this group of schools prepares students for entry into one of these fast-growing health-care professions through a combination of classroom coursework and hands-on training.
