Read the official registration instructions, which you can find at one of the British Council foreign offices or on the website of the British Council.

    • 2

Find out what O Level qualifications are required by the academic institution you're applying to for further study or what employers in your desired work field generally expect so you can choose the right exam for you.

    • 3

Complete the entry form that's available from your local British Council branch or from the British Council's website. Make sure that you complete the entry form by the specified date for the test.

    • 4

Pay the exam fee that's specified by your entry form and make sure you intend to take the O Level at the given time, since the exam fees are not transferable from one exam session period to another.

    • 5

Buy a copy of the exam study guide and syllabus from Britain's Examinations Services. If you don't want to spend the money or can't afford to purchase the syllabus, contact the British Council office near you to find out if they have copies of the syllabus in their library.

Contact the Exam Team by email or regular mail by finding the correct address from the British Council's website. Ask any questions you might have about Britain's O Level and be patient for a response since the exam teams field numerous questions at any given time.
