Write your thesis statement in generally one to two sentences.
Create an outline of the main ideas that are relevant to your topic and support your thesis.
Begin writing paragraphs for each section of your outline. Present your thoughts, as well as the supporting evidence, in a logical and concise format.
Evaluate your work. Ask yourself whether your writing supports your thesis statement. Revise the paper accordingly.
Proofread your research paper. Ask others to review your work and provide feedback.
Write a final draft. Use the appropriate APA or MLA format requirements for endnotes or footnotes and bibliography.
Compare the final draft to the assignment requirements before submission to check that you met the expectations.
