How to Get PhD Student Grants

Going back to school for your Ph.D. can be difficult if you do not have the financial backing. Fortunately, getting grants to support you while you attend school is not an impossible task. Although there are no federal Ph.D. grant programs, there are an abundance of private programs. Many companies and organizations will fund a Ph.D. in an area that they are conducting research. Many of these organizations conduct research at universities and staff them with Ph.D. candidates who they financially support.
