The Pell Grant aids college students with financial needs so that they can afford school expenses such as tuition and books. In order to receive a Pell Grant from the government, applicants must provide income information, total number of people in the household, the school attending and other factors to determine Pell Grant eligibility. The Pell Grant can be applied for online at http://www.fasfa.ed.gov. Once the application is filled out online, applicants can go back at a later date and view federal Pell Grant information.

      Go to FAFSA at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. This is the website to view your Pell Grant information.

      Click on "FAFSA Follow-Up" on the left side of the web page. Click on "View and Print Your Student Aid Report."

      Select the year you wish to view. Click on the recent transaction you made on your Pell Grant according to date. Once you do this, you have the option to view processing information and the amount approved for Pell Grant. You can view your information, your school's information and your parents' information as well as your student loans if you have any.

      Print a summary of your information if you desire. This gives you the option to retain a copy of the information that you filled out online.
