The University of Miami's School of Law offers an employment, labor and immigration law certificate program. This program is ideal for those who are interested in counseling businesses, working with unions or representing individual employees. The certificate courses in this program include required courses such as employment law, labor law, employment discrimination, immigration law, administrative law and alternative dispute resolution or labor or employment arbitration. Students will have a choice of related electives that include immigration clinic, employment benefits, public sector employment, international human rights, workers compensation, wage theft seminar and sports or entertainment law. Students will also have a capstone project as an independent paper, NLRA reform seminar or a work law seminar.
