Include the producer's last name and the date of the DVD in your in-text citations. For example, your in-text citation might be, (Bruckheimer, 1983).
Create a bibliography entry for each DVD you cite in your paper. This entry should include the producer's last name and first and middle initials, the same information for the director, the year, the title of the movie, the country and the studio or distributor. A sample bibliography entry for the example citation would appear as follows (with the movie's title capitalized):
Bruckheimer, J. L. (Producer), & Lyne, A. (Director). (1983). Flashdance [Motion picture]. United States: Paramount Pictures.
Alphabetize your bibliography as normal, using the producer's last name as if it were an author's last name. There is no need to treat a DVD entry in your bibliography differently than a book entry when you are alphabetizing the bibliography.
