Online Graduate Programs in History

A degree in history can prepare you for a variety of careers. According to the American Historical Association, historians work in many fields, including teaching at the secondary and college level; serving as a museum curator, archivist or researcher; and editing and publishing.

In many cases, you must obtain specialized knowledge and skills by completing a graduate degree for these positions. If you are unable to attend a traditional college or university, or would prefer more flexibility in your program, an online master's or doctoral degree may be the ideal path toward fulfilling your educational goals.
