The International Correspondence School (ICS), located in Glasgow, Scotland, offers an online bachelor of arts degree, with honors, in the field of psychology. Although the program is not accredited by the British Psychological Society, as of 2010, students can convert their ICS degree to a BPS accredited degree by taking some post-graduate work at a BPS accredited institution. BPS accreditation is only necessary for students planning to work within the psychology profession in the United Kingdom. Students not planning to work specifically in the psychology field may use their degree for other employment. The degree program is divided up into three levels of study, each more advanced than the previous. Level one courses are basic psychology and foundational courses while the courses in the next two levels of study are more advanced areas such as neuropsychology, advanced research methods, psychology of education and forensic psychology.

A second option for online psychology studies is offered through the external system of the University of London. The University's distance education program is one of the most extensive in all of Europe and, with more than 40,000 students studying through online and distance instruction, one of the largest in the world. The university offers a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology. This degree is intended for students with a background in the field of psychology, but cit an be earned by students in related fields, such as human resource management. The degree consists of 10 modules that take anywhere from two to five years of study to complete. Modules include studies in organizational analysis, training and development, career counseling theory and practice, motivation and performance at work and organizational change.

The University of Derby offers a BPS accredited online bachelor's degree in psychology. The degree program provides students with a mixture of courses from the fields of introductory and counseling psychology. Students completing the program graduate with a bachelor of science degree in psychology (with honors). The degree program is designed to last three years.
