Can I major in HR school?

You can't major in "HR school." There's no such thing as an institution called "HR school."

However, you can major in a field that prepares you for a career in Human Resources. Common majors that provide a strong foundation for an HR career include:

* Human Resources Management: This is the most direct route. Many universities offer this as a major or a concentration within a broader business administration degree.

* Business Administration/Management: A general business degree with a concentration or electives in HR, management, organizational behavior, or related fields will give you a solid base.

* Psychology: Understanding human behavior is crucial in HR, so a psychology degree can be a valuable asset, though you'll likely need additional coursework or an MBA to specialize in HR.

* Sociology: Similar to psychology, sociology provides insight into group dynamics and organizational structures, which are important for HR professionals.

You should research the undergraduate programs offered at universities near you or online to find a major that best suits your interests and career goals in Human Resources. Look for programs that offer courses in areas like compensation and benefits, employee relations, recruitment, training and development, and HR law.
