The World Wide Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (WWACS) is
not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or any of the regional accrediting agencies that are recognized by the Department of Education. Therefore, accreditation from WWACS is
not considered legitimate for purposes of federal student aid, transfer of credits to other regionally accredited institutions, or professional licensing.
While Ames Christian University might claim accreditation through WWACS, this does not mean its degrees are widely accepted. You should carefully consider the implications of attending a non-regionally accredited institution before continuing your studies there. Your credits may not transfer, and your degree may not hold the same weight as a degree from a regionally accredited university.
