It is the oldest law school in the city. Approximately 300 students are enrolled in the program and tuition is $32,648 per year as of 2009 according to the U.S. New & World Report list. There are nine research centers at the school including the Institute for Constitutional History (ICH), the nation's leading legal organization dedicated to the constitutional law and scholarship. Part-time students take classes in the evening and have the option of transferring to the full time program during their second semester of their first year.

Fordham University is a private, Jesuit-affiliated university in New York City. Over 300 students are part-timers and tuition is $33,816 per year as of 2009 according to U.S. New & World Report. Founded in 1905, the law school is ranked third on the magazine's 2010 list of top part-time law schools. Fordham's law school boasts that six of its specialty areas are rated among the top 20 in the nation. Students in the part-time evening division are offered many of the same electives as full-timers. The law school extends the hours of many of its administrative and student affairs offices for evening students.
