In order to be accepted to Miles Law School, an individual must first have obtained a Bachelor's degree. The Bachelor's degree must be from a four-year, accredited university or college. According to the Miles Law School website, a "competitive GPA" is required for admission. An official transcript from the student's four-year school must be sent to Miles Law School. If students attended more than one undergraduate school, transcripts from all schools should be sent.
Students wishing to enroll in Miles Law School must complete the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT). The LSAT consists of various multiple-choice questions that are designed to measure the verbal and critical thinking skills of the students. The LSAT is typically offered four times a year in the United States.
Individuals must complete a Miles Law School application form. The application may be downloaded directly from the Miles Law School website. The application should be submitted along with a $50 non-refundable application fee. The Law School will only admit qualified applicants in the summer and in the fall.
When students complete the application for admission, they must also include a resume and a personal statement. Students will need to obtain at least one letter of reference to be included in the admission packet. Letters of reference can be provided by a former professor, an employer, or a community leader.
