The Best Physical Therapy Graduate Schools

Physical therapists help patients restore function and mobility, relieve pain and promote fitness and health. Therapists test and measure patients' strength, balance, movement and motor function, then develop treatment plans to treat the patients' problems. Typically, the lowest degree a physical therapist can have to practice physical therapy is a master's of physical therapy. Physical therapists who plan to specialize or perform research within the field pursue doctorates such as the physician's degree (PhD) or doctor of physical therapy (DPT) degree.
