In order to get into Harvard's MBA program, you must have obtained an undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year undergraduate college, university or an equivalent program.
Prior to applying to Harvard's MBA program, you are required to have taken the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE.) Graduate programs use these tests to weigh the potential of a prospective student; this is similar to how undergraduate programs use the SAT and ACT tests to gauge their prospective students.
In your application to Harvard's MBA program you are required to include your current resume and three recommendations from either former professors or professionals.
Harvard also asks each prospective student to write an essay that outlines her accomplishments, what she has learned from her undergraduate studies and what she plans to get from attending Harvard's MBA program.
