Colleges That Will Accept a GED for Admission

According to Time magazine, 95% of community colleges and four-year colleges accept the GED in place of a high-school diploma. If students pass the five tests comprising the GED--math, science, social studies, writing and literature--with high enough grades, they may then apply for college admission. Many community colleges offer GED programs, so students can begin at the school as GED students and continue to attend as college students once they have passed their tests.
