How to Transfer for a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

If you would like to pursue a career in pharmacy, you will need to fill out an application request form to change your application status, but before you fill out the form, it is important to know the program prerequisites. If you are in an unrelated field of study, changing programs might be a more time-consuming process because you may need to take a backlog of required courses.

Instructions

    • 1

Read over the qualifications to gain admission into the pharmacology program, as provided by your post-secondary institution. If you are eligible for application, meaning you have taken all the prerequisite courses, then you can continue with the application process.

    • 2

Familiarize yourself with the course requirements to obtain a degree in pharmacology. If you are in an unrelated program, you might not have any courses that are transferrable. Changing programs will require you to invest more time into your education if you do not have any credits that will support the program switch.

    • 3

Check your school calendar to see when the deadline is for student transfer requests.

    • 4

Fill out the appropriate program change request forms. To gain access to the forms you will have to contact your school's registrar, or the department to which you'd like to transfer. Some forms will be available online through your student portal.

    • 5

Submit the completed form within the school's deadlines.
