The University of Advancing Technology evaluates students with regard to their academic history, personal expression, aptitude for technology and how well they might fit in with its "geek-friendly" culture. Applicants submit high school transcripts, ACT or SAT scores and college transcripts.
ITT Technical Institute requires potential students to meet with a school representative, pass an admission test or have scored over 17 on the ACT or 400 on the SAT. Students are also admitted if they have earned at least 24 semester hours with a grade point average higher than 2.0.
Tribeca Flashpoint requires potential students to complete an application form, provide two letters of recommendation and pay a $150 application fee. A student must then write a short essay and complete a series of interviews. Students are encouraged to provide sample work, such as music, films, designs or art, that will also be considered in the application process.
As you narrow down your list of potential programs, you can check an individual school's website for its entry requirements. Don't worry if you feel behind in a certain area. Schools can and often do make exceptions if you can prove that you're outstanding in other areas.
