Should you go to college or university become a teacher for the deaf?

To become a teacher for the deaf, you'll need to go to university. Colleges typically don't offer the specialized training and certification required for this profession. You'll need a degree (usually a bachelor's at minimum, but a master's is increasingly preferred) in a field like deaf education, special education with a concentration in deaf education, or a related field.
