Anthropology Master's Degrees

Anthropology students often pursue graduate degrees to improve their employment prospects. An undergraduate degree in anthropology opens few jobs outside of teaching social studies. Young anthropologists need to attend graduate school to learn more about teaching, researching and writing on anthropological topics. Graduate students in anthropology gain experience by teaching assistantships, research jobs and archaeological internships. Universities throughout the United States feature anthropology departments that combine graduate degrees with opportunities for advanced scholarship.
