Child psychology--now widely known as developmental psychology--is a developmental study that sheds light on the minds of humans as they grow and develop. Developmental psychology focuses heavily on children--from behavior and morality to intellect and motor skills--but also includes the development of humans as they grow into adulthood. Becoming a child psychologist requires a bachelor's degree in psychology or a relevant field and a master's degree in developmental psychology.
