Six-Year Physical Therapy Degree Colleges

A physical therapist, often referred to as a PT, is a professional who provides care to people who have movement, mechanical and physiological disorders as well as functional limitations and developmental delays. These conditions can be caused by a disease or injury. The role of the PT is to help individuals achieve the highest level of function and mobility they can given their condition. Some colleges offer a six-year program from which students graduate with a doctorate in physical therapy.
