Boise State University is a public four-year university in the southwestern Idaho metropolis of Boise. Established in 1932, the university was first known as Episcopal College. Today, Boise State's academic offerings include both undergraduate and graduate programs in areas such as health science, business and education. Housed within the College of Engineering, the university hosts a bachelor of science in construction management degree program. In addition to construction management courses, the program's curriculum includes interdisciplinary study in engineering and core requirements in courses such as Principles of Microeconomics and General Physics. Many students who matriculate into Boise State's baccalaureate construction management choose to complete a minor in business. Additionally, Boise State offers an academic minor in construction management studies.

Founded in 1966, Kankakee Community College is a public two-year community college in the rural metropolitan Chicago area city of Kankakee. The college features certificate and associate degree programs in business, technology, public service and liberal arts. Kankakee's associate of applied science in construction management program is designed to prepare graduates to transfer to a four-year baccalaureate program in construction management. In addition to courses such as Surveying with Civil Applications, Principles of Management and Industrial Safety, Kankakee's construction management curriculum also includes general education coursework and a technical elective in air conditioning fundamentals. The four-semester program takes two years to complete.

Te college features certificate, diploma and associate degree programs in its five divisions. Students interested in careers in construction management can pursue Savannah's associate of applied science in construction management. The two-year program's curriculum combines introductory skills training in courses such as Floor Framing and Interior Finishes with management training in accounting, contracting and drafting, among other areas. Students matriculated into Savannah's construction management associate degree program must also complete general education core courses such as pre-calculus.
