A bachelor of science diploma is signed by a minimum of two people. The president of the university, dean of students and a member of the board of trustees are a few who may sign a degree. Legal names are used to sign the document. All bachelor's degree documentation will use the legal name and a permanent ink. The title of each person signing the document is printed directly below the name. All other pertinent information such as the individual's legal name, the degree and the college or university is printed on the document.
