How to Write a Master of Social Work Thesis Proposal

A thesis proposal is an academic contract between a graduate student and his thesis committee. Several professors who are experts in the graduate student's field of study constitute the thesis committee. The thesis proposal is a customized outline that covers what research you will conduct, how you will gather the data and, of course, how you will interpret the data. When the committee approves your proposal it has accepted your plan. Different graduate programs in social work have different requirements regarding the format of the proposal, but all social work proposals have these basic steps.
