Stop before you think you or your audience wants you to. Drawing out your conclusion can take away from the main ideas that you wanted to emphasize earlier in the speech.
Summarize the main points that you covered throughout your speech. Do not simply repeat what you have already said, but rather, rephrase these points so that it is clear you are ending.
Close with a point or idea that you really want your audience to remember.
End with a joke, interesting remark or even thank your audience for their time and attention. Leave your audience thinking positively about you and the information you presented in your speech.
