Who wrote the book of Leviticus?

The book of Leviticus is traditionally attributed to Moses.

However, like much of the Hebrew Bible, its authorship is debated by scholars. Some believe it was written by a variety of authors over a long period, while others argue that it was compiled and edited from earlier sources.

Regardless of the exact authorship, Leviticus is considered a sacred text within Judaism and Christianity and holds significant religious and cultural importance.
