Court is a 2014 Indian drama film directed by Chaitanya Tamhane. It stars Vira Sathidar, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vivek Gomber, Pradeep Joshi and Usha Bane. The film had its world premiere in Venice Days section of the 71st Venice International Film Festival where it won the Lion of the Future Award for Best Debut Feature. It also won the Golden Gateway Award for Best Film at the 19th Mumbai Film Festival and the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in India. The film was India's official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.
