Mohammad yunus was given the nobel prize in which field?

Muhammad (or Mohammad) Yunus was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 "for their efforts to create economic and social development from below". Yunus was awarded the prize jointly with the Grameen Bank, a microfinance institution that he founded in Bangladesh.
