* World Fantasy Award: Rice won the World Fantasy Award for Best Novel for her book _Beauty_ (1983).
In addition to these awards, Rice was also nominated for several other awards, including the Hugo Award, the Nebula Award, and the Edgar Award. She was also inducted into the Bram Stoker Award Hall of Fame in 2010.
