What has the author W H Willshire written?

William Hughes Willshire (17 May 1857 – 23 October 1929) was an English physician, neurologist, and psychiatrist who was the first Honorary Secretary for Neuropsychiatric Practice of the British Medical Association. He was the first psychiatrist to demonstrate that the effects of Cannabis include "great exhilaration, followed by languor and depression, and occasionally marked hallucination". He was the first to use the word "psychiatrist".

He was born in Southbourne, Christchurch in Hampshire. He studied medicine at St Mary's Hospital, London. He was a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Mental Science from 1893.

He wrote 148 publications, including:
