How should a source be cited if there is no known author?

When there is no known author for a source, cite the title of the work in place of the author's name. If there is no date listed, use "n.d." (no date) after the title.

In-Text Citation:

For an in-text citation, use a shortened version of the title:

("Title of Source," year of publication).

Examples:

- ("MLA Handbook," 2023).

- ("About the United Nations," n.d.).

Reference List:

For the reference list, include the full title of the work, followed by the publication date (if available) and the URL or retrieval information:

Title of Source. (Year of publication). URL or retrieval information.

Examples:

- MLA Handbook. (2023). https://www.mla.org/The-MLA-Style-Manual/browse/handbook/1

- About the United Nations. (n.d.). Retrieved from https://www.un.org/en/about-us/
