Can you do Summer reading assignment without the book?

It is not possible to complete a summer reading assignment without reading the assigned book. The purpose of a summer reading assignment is to encourage students to read and engage with a specific text over the summer break, and to come back to school prepared to discuss and analyze the book in class. Without reading the book, students would be unable to participate in class discussions, complete assignments related to the book, or demonstrate their understanding of the text.
