What are the two types of citations?

Signal phrases: In-text citations indicate where the information in your paper comes from. They signal your readers to the fact that you're referencing another work. They usually come at the end of a sentence, before a period.

Full citations: Full citations, on the other hand, provide all of the information needed to identify a source. They are listed at the end of your paper in a section called "References." Each full citation includes the author's name, the year of publication, the title of the work, the publisher's name, and the page numbers (if applicable).
