For a pound of honey, a pot of cream,
And a small green mouse, and a bright blue blouse,
And a little green frog, and a blue-eyed hog.
The cat was pleased, and the Pussy-Cat too,
They danced and they sang in the moonlight.
The Owl hooted softly, and the Pussy-Cat meowed,
And the green mouse squeaked, and the blue-eyed hog snored.
