Who did Robert Burns write the song your love is like a red rose to?

Robert Burns did not write the song "Your Love is Like a Red Red Rose". The poem, that the lyrics of the song were based on, was called "A Red, Red Rose" and it was written by Robert Burns in 1794 for Jean Armour, who later became his wife. The poem was initially published in 1796 in the fifth volume of the Scots Musical Museum.
