Tails that swish, like gentle waves,
Guiding them through life's great raves,
Fur as soft as velvet's touch,
Against their skin, oh, so much!
Purrs that vibrate, with softest hum,
Soothing melodies, never to succumb,
Claws that retract, yet sharp can be,
In defense of their liberty.
Playful spirits, filled with mirth,
Chasing toys of ribbon's birth,
Sprints so quick, as they dash,
Through sunlit rooms, in nature's splash.
In all their feline majesty,
With grace and poise, they sway,
These cats, our treasured friends,
With love abundant, their hearts blend.
