What are bound magazines?

Bound magazines are physical, tangible copies of books, newspapers, journals, comics and other periodical publishing media and literature that have all issues of these bound together. As they have been bound together, readers cannot remove or add more to its issues and pages without damaging it. It makes these physical copies hard to update hence most bound volumes of magazines that are used today are mostly found in collections of older literature or are for archival and record keeping purposes as the latest bound magazines may be outdated after new and revised versions have been released over time.
