There haven't been any new Kay Scarpetta novels released since 2016. The last book in the series was "The Silent Wife".
Patricia Cornwell, the author of the series, has stated that she is taking a break from writing about Kay Scarpetta to focus on other projects. However, she has not ruled out writing more Scarpetta novels in the future.
