Did Deborah Sampson write a book?

Deborah Sampson did not write a book. However, she did dictate her memoirs to a friend, which were later published as "The Female Review: Life and Adventures of Deborah Sampson, the Female Soldier in the War of the Revolution." This book, published in 1805, detailed her experiences as a soldier in the American Revolutionary War, disguised as a man.
