What is Odysseus relationship with Circe at the end of book 10?

Odysseus and his crew leave Circe's island as friends. Odysseus left with an improved ship, one year supply of food, drink and wine, and gifts for his crew from the goddess. As they part, Odysseus promises that if he returns home, he will build a temple in her honor.
