When is the SAT given in high school?

The SAT is not given *in* high school. It's given at test centers throughout the country (and internationally) on specific dates throughout the year. High schools may offer support for students preparing for the SAT, such as providing practice materials or offering tutoring, but the test itself is administered externally.
