What does extreme caution mean for the F index in BASC-2?

The F index in the Behavior Assessment System for Children, Second Edition (BASC-2) measures emotional control and interpersonal conduct. An extremely cautious individual may be overly concerned with following rules and may lack spontaneity. They may also be hesitant to try new things, may worry excessively, and may be overly self-critical. They may become preoccupied with details, unable to see the big picture. This may lead to difficulty making decisions and getting things done effectively.
