What does AQE or ASVAB score mean?
The AQE (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) or ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) score is a standardized test used by the United States military to measure the aptitude and skills of potential recruits. The AQE score replaced the ASVAB score in 2023. The test covers a range of academic subjects and skills, including math, reading, science, and mechanical reasoning. The AQE or ASVAB score is used to determine whether a candidate meets the minimum requirements for military service and to assign them to appropriate jobs and career fields. The score can also be used to identify candidates who have the potential for leadership, technical training, or other specialized roles within the military.
