Get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast before taking this important exam.
Read the assigned argument carefully, looking for flaws in its logic.
Spend the first five minutes planning. List the weaknesses you find in the argument. This list will be the basis of your argument analysis.
Begin your analysis with a brief introductory paragraph. One simple way to organize the introduction is to mention the logic weaknesses you will discuss further in the body of your essay.
Write a paragraph discussing each of the weaknesses in more depth. Breadth is more important than depth in the GMAT Argument Analysis.
Wrap up your essay with a strong conclusion. Save a compelling argument or conclusion for this final paragraph of your essay.
