There isn't a dewy decimal brainstorm. However, the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) is a system of library organization developed by Melvil Dewey in 1876. It assigns a unique number to each book, based on its subject matter. This number is then used to organize books on library shelves, so that books on similar topics are shelved together.
