How can you apply direct TYBA?

Eligibility Criteria:

- Candidates should have passed TYBCom/BBI from the University of Mumbai or any other recognized University with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).

- Candidates should have cleared the MHCET exam conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

Application Process:

Step 1: Online Registration:

Visit the official website of TYBCom Direct Admission [t-admission.mu.ac.in] and click on the "New Registration" link.

Enter your name, email ID, and phone number.

Create a password and complete the registration process.

Step 2: Application Form Filling:

After successful registration, log in to your account using the registered email ID and password.

Click on the "Application Form" link and start filling out the application form.

Enter personal details, academic qualifications, and other relevant information.

Upload required documents such as class 10 and 12 mark sheets, college leaving certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), etc.

Step 3: Payment of Application Fee:

Pay the application fee of Rs. 300 (for general category candidates) or Rs. 150 (for reserved category candidates) through online mode using debit card/credit card/net banking.

Step 4: Merit List and Counselling:

The selection of candidates will be based on the merit list prepared by the University of Mumbai.

Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in MHCET.

Candidates will be shortlisted for counselling based on their merit rank and preferences entered during the application process.

Step 5: Document Verification and Admission:

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the centralized counselling process.

Candidates must bring all the original documents for verification at the counselling venue.

After successful verification, candidates will be allotted TYBCom seats in various colleges affiliated with the University of Mumbai.

- Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission. Admission is based on merit and subject to the availability of seats.

- Some colleges may also conduct their entrance exams or interviews for direct TYBCom admission.
