Step 1: Ensure that you have the two original working key fobs for your car.
Step 2: Ensure that all doors and the hood are closed.
Step 3: Insert one of the working keys into the ignition and leave it in the "ON" position, with the engine turned off.
Step 4: Within 10 seconds of insert the key, press the "UNLOCK" button on the key fob five times.
Step 5: Wait for the door locks to cycle (lock and unlock).
Step 6: Remove the first working key from the ignition.
Step 7: Within 10 seconds, insert the second working key into the ignition and leave it in the "ON" position, with the engine turned off.
Step 8: Press the "UNLOCK" button on the second working key fob five times.
Step 9: Wait for the door locks to cycle (lock and unlock) again.
Step 10: Remove the second working key from the ignition.
Step 11: Within 10 seconds of removing the second working key, press and hold the "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons simultaneously on the new keyless remote for approximately five seconds.
Step 12: Press the "UNLOCK" button on the new keyless remote. The door locks should lock and unlock once.
Step 13: Repeat Step 12 two additional times (a total of three presses of the "UNLOCK" button).
Your new keyless remote should be successfully programmed.
