Give your preschooler different props to learn about the sun and the stars. Let him use the binoculars and telescopes he made, along with a projector that casts the night sky on to the ceiling, to pretend that he is an astronomer. He can use puppets to enact a Martian discovery or wear costumes to reenact how and where the sun rises and sets.

    A Field Trip
